Splashtop Remote Desktop App - Pulled from the Windows 8 Store
I've found no explanation for this anywhere online, but the Splashtop Remote Desktop App for Windows 8 is mysteriously no longer available in the Windows store. What's strange is the app shows up in search and will go to a page for the app, but when you select "Buy", it states "This item is no longer available". This app apparently was first available back in August when the Windows 8 Consumer Preview was released. I really like Splashtop for the iPad, and was hoping to access my Mac Mini remotely with my Windows 8 laptop. It's not clear who pulled the plug. Either Splashtop discontinued it for whatever reason or Microsoft pulled it from the store for violating policy. Who knows? Either way ,this is VERY disappointing. Does anyone have any insight into this?
