New Machine

fter Much deliberation I have decided to skip Surface and get a desktop instead. The reasons behind the decision is outside the scope of this post, so I am keeping that out.

I have not yet made the order. But right now the machine's configuration looks like this,

Intel Core i7-3770 Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155
Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 GA-Z77X-UD3H
Patriot Memory Viper 3 Series DDR3 16GB 1866MHz (PC3 15000)
Samsung 840 Series Solid State Drive 120GB OCZ Technology Vertex 4 Series128GB
Western Digital Caviar Green 3 TB SATA III 64 MB Cache
EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB GDDR5
Cooler Master GX - 650W 80 PLUS Bronze
Cooler Master Elite 430 - Mid Tower
Windows 8 Professional OEM

I should say that this machine will serve as the center-point of all other devices in my house. Also there is no chance of me getting any AMD/ATI graphics card or a non-Gigabyte board. I look forward to suggestions for possible improvements.

Update: Order placed and most of the components have arrived. Thanks to the people who helped with valuable advices. Final config is,

Intel Core i5 3570 3.4GHz (3.8 GHz)
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB WiFi [Amazon]
G.SKILL Ripjaws X 2*8GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
ASUS GeForce GTX 660Ti 2GB GDDR5 Direct Cu
OCZ Vertex 4 128GB [Amazon]
Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200 RPM
Corsair HX750 750w

The motherboard and cooler was not available at Newegg. SSD was cheaper at Amazon even with the tax.
