Windows 8 Tablets.... how is RT to survive with Intel making the Atom?
I understand the premise for Windows RT. Apple has Mountain Lion and iOS... Microsoft should have Windows 8 and Windows RT...
However.
With Intel developing the low power Atom processor meant specifically for tablets... how is Windows RT to survive? I'm not worried about ARM, they're doing well with multiple platforms... the problem is once an Atom processor can run full Windows 8 without any hiccups, there's no reason for Windows RT to exist. Sure, there will be a price difference... but when Intel sees no one forking out $799 for a Windows Pro tablet, prices will drop and ARM will be forced out.
