Help with my weird dream
Born in the 90's and growing up with older computer hardware, what I consider to be the stepping stone to modern technology has always caught my interest. My room contains an Optimus stereo system and most all of my vinyls are from the same era.
I want to take it a step further. Earlier this month I had the idea to build a computer with parts no newer than 1999. High end stuff from back then. This is turning out to be a bit of a challenge, but I'm sure I'll reach my goal (though if you have any sites where I could get weird old parts like the ones I'm looking for I'd be more than grateful). What I need from you guys is an OS. The sense-able choice would be W98, but as you can see I'm no sense-able person. I want to find the "best" and most capable LINUX distribution from the 1990's. Any ideas? Thoughts?
Thanks in advance for helping me in my endeavor.
