If you've been holding out for an LTE-enabled version of the iPad mini or 4th-generation iPad, it may be your lucky day. Sprint has announced that it'll be carrying both tablets in its stores from today, marking the first official news we've heard about retail availability. AT&T, Verizon, and Apple itself are yet to confirm their plans, however, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear anything. Just don't count on iPad mini stock being in great supply — Apple's own site still lists a two-week shipping time for all LTE models, and Sprint warns of "limited quantities."

Update: AT&T confirms the new iPads are also available in its retail stores. Meanwhile, Verizon has a few to order online although stock is limited.
