Defective Nokia Lumia 920...

(new customer) I'm currently waiting to receive my replacement unit because the camera no longer functions properly. New unit will be here Tuesday, I forgot my phone was in my lap while driving and it fell on the ground now it has scratches on it..can it still be replaced? I don't want to be stuck with a defective unit...
