Buy Nexus 7 and iPhone 5 now or retina iPad mini and Nexus 4 later?
- iPhone user for 3.5 years (3G for 1 yr, then 4 for 2.5 yrs)
- Tablet user for 0 years (aka never owned a tablet before)
- Wants 1 device from each ecosystem
- Won't have LTE with either phone
- Will go caseless with either phone
- Thinks iOS on phone is reliable but stale, Android looks damn cool, new and feature filled
- Not sure about Android's stability compared to iOS but thinks that the Nexus should be stable enough for daily driver use
- Thinks iOS on tablets is awesome and not stale, doesn't fancy tablet Android
- Nexus 7 too small, full-sized iPad / Nexus 10 too big, iPad mini just right
- iPad mini's screen not hi-res enough, everyday usage for tablet involves reading lots and lots of words
- Online purchase / whatever not an option, has to use $500 carrier phone voucher that can be used only when signing contracts with them
- Price doesn't matter
- Would love to go with Nexus 4 + retina iPad mini combo, but doesn't know when either of them are coming (stupid carrier won't release the N4, and IDK when Apple gonna release a retina iPad mini)
- Don't really want an iPhone 5 + Nexus 7 combo, but can walk into the mall around the corner and buy both of them on the spot anytime
- HELP!
