surface performance

I am one of the biggest Microsoft fans, however I find it disappointing that my htc 8x out performs my surface in almost every function. the performance on the surface is just barely acceptable. why release a phone with the current gen processor and release the surface with a two year old processor. how can you explain this Microsoft? Microsoft step up your game, you clearly have the resources and talent to do so... you get no more passes or excuses, we expect the very best from you, period!
