iPod Touch 5G or iPhone 4S?

I'm either going to buy an iPhone 4S or an iPod Touch 5G as well as a cheaper phone like the Galaxy Ace 2.

I'm tempted by the iPod with its bigger screen and thinner design, but I'm not sure if I want to carry around two separate devices.

Any help?
