A Widget Solution
Since IOS 5 i think about a solution for "widgets" in IOS.
i don´t like widgets in Android because they are "too much"
Inspiration for me was the App "Newsstand" and the animation if you click on the icon. Because then you get much more information in a stylish way. So i thought this would also work with other apps for example Calendar,Mail,Twitter,Facebook and stuff like that.
With a Double Click on one of these icons you would get more information for example, you click on the calendar icon an get the next appointments
this integration would be a nice way to get information in a stylish way an don´t overload your homescreen with widgets
i thnik the screenshot speak more than words but i have a more detailed explanation on my blog (sorry but in German gg)
