HTML 5 videos on the desktop, thanks!
I wanted to take some time and thank the Verge staff for moving back to an HTML 5 desktop video solution that appears to be working well. I keep a Flash free system for security reasons, and appreciate being able to watch the videos here again without having to switch over to the iPad. My readership will likely start going back up a bit, as frustrations over videos was one reason I started looking elsewhere when browsing from a desktop/laptop.
