Anyone buy a Nexus 4 from outside US?
Like many fools, I spent an inexcusable amount of time on the Google Play website last night (my time) trying to get the Nexus 4.
After far too much effort, I finally managed to get to the little box for buying the device, but every time I would click "BUY" it would tell me the order could not go through due to a "technical issue." I eventually got frustrated and gave up.
But I was thinking - could this be because I am a non-US resident? I was basically accessing the store via a VPN, and using a non-American credit card to boot. Could this be the reason for the issues?
Did anyone from outside the US succeed in buying the Nexus? If so, how did you do it?
P.S. Google Play store sucks.
