It looks like the Google Play store is finally doing it right.
You can now actually place an order for a nexus 4! Sure it may take anywhere from 2-8 weeks for delivery, but at least you can get an order in... That's what they should have done from the beginning. Most people don't mind "pre-ordering" and receiving the item when it comes back in stock.
Sitting at my computer for 2.5 hours hitting refresh 300 times hoping to be one of the lucky few who gets in was not exactly my proudest moment, and I'm annoyed I was put in that position... again. Hopefully they keep the order page going, and allow people to place orders even if they are out of stock.
