Microsoft should reboot Killer Instinct
Killer Instinct in the arcades blurred the lines between CG, raster, and realtime rendering so seamlessly that it had a whole generation of gamers fooled. The control scheme and combo system was a decade ahead of its time as well. They should have Rare focus on creating a new version that is real time based on the original arcade classic.
It would probably sell much better than the way Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts did.
I read online that Microsoft only acquired Rare to do family friendly games.
Hopefully at some point they reconsider bringing the franchise back.
