Surface Office - equation editing?

I'm toying with getting a Surface and ditching my iPad, namely for office abilites (I'm a heavy Word user). My documents are always heavily inundated with equations, however, and I need to know - does the Windows RT office have these features? If so, will I be able to use my keyboard shortcuts like on the desktop version (\dot, \theta x_i, etc..)

Any help would be great!

P.S. I know I should just use LaTeX, but I'm dirty at entering equations with Word and I don't want to be slowed down.
