Windows tablets and their prices...

So there seems to be a $200 divide between the multiple levels of Windows 8 tablets:

Windows 8 RT - $500

Windows 8 Pro (Intel Atom) - $700

Windows 8 Pro (core i) - $900

Obviously these are just ballpark figures.... but the competitive pricing of the Surface Pro, to me, really makes the Intel Atom tablets undesirable. I understand there are people that use x86 apps that only need minimal power to get the job done, and surely the Z2760 will take care of that... but consider the differences the extra power would make with multi-tasking alone.

Let's compare two highly-desired tablets, the ThinkPad Tablet 2 and the Surface Pro.

For $699, you get a 64GB, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 768p screen, Intel Atom with a digitizer pen on the ThinkPad Tablet 2.

For $899 you get a 64GB, probably 4GB DDR3 RAM, 1080p screen, core-i5 with a digitizer pen on the Surface Pro.

Seems to me like the better RAM,screen, and processor alone is worth the $200.

What do you guys think?
