Refund in Windows 8 Store [Updated w/ Method]
I purchased an application in the Windows 8 Store via Paypal. The app crashes on launch; I can't even make it to the main menu. I've looked through the store app itself and the various MS account pages at MS Store and the commerce.Microsoft to no avail. Where do you go to get refunds for app purchases? I've emailed the developer's support to see if there is a fix, but is the refund supposed to come from them or MS?
1) Go to your "Commerce" page -- commerce.microsoft.com
2) Log into account -- list of transactions will be there -- select 'Help'
3) Click 'Getting Help' and 'Contact Customer Support'
4) Select Windows Store-->Apps & Windows Store-->Getting a Refund
Then you select either a phone call or internet chat with their representative and they'll assist you.
