Will the 3rd gen iPad still get updates ?
As you already know Apple discontinued "The New iPad", but will it still get iOS7 and later versions ? Seeng how the only devices that got iOS6 were the ones that were still on sale when the new version was announced, I guess Apple might just forget about the iPad 3. I really don't want to buy an obsolete tablet and in that case I'll be better off spending a little more for an iPad 4 (or get a nexus 10).
One more thing, does the retina iPad really have an overheating problem or is it just a meme ?
