CBS has long been the odd network out when it comes to Hulu, which began as a joint venture between Fox and NBC before ABC/Disney joined the fray in 2009. But that's finally set to change with a deal announced today bringing more than 2,600 episodes of various programming from the CBS vault to Hulu Plus starting in January. Both modern shows (CSI: Miami, Numb3rs) and classics (Star Trek, The Twilight Zone, I Love Lucy) are part of the new agreement and CBS has also pledged to offer select episodes through the free, ad-supported Hulu.com on a rotating basis. And for the gossip hounds among you, clips from Entertainment Tonight will be made available the same day they're originally aired. Though it spans multiple years, the deal is non-exclusive so there's no need to worry about CBS content vanishing from Netflix anytime soon. Considering Hulu's uncertain future, it's probably good to keep those options open.
