What video game genres are better on PC? On Console?
Let me start off by saying that this is NOT a PC vs. Console debate.
Basically, I was wondering what video game genres are better on which platform? I have a gaming PC right now as well as a PS3, and the biggest issue I have these days (now that most games are available on both PC and console), is which platform to get it on. On one hand, the PC has better controls for first-person games; on the other, the console, for me, is a more social gaming platform--in the sense, that it's easier for my friends to just chill in the couch with me while I play than it is on the PC. Also, adventure-type and hack-and-slash games like God of War and Assassin's Creed work better on console.
But there are some games I'm not sure about. I'm planning to get the Mass Effect trilogy, but I don't know whether to get it for PC or the PS3. It's an "fps," yeah, but isn't it more story-driven and better experienced on the big screen?
