The unofficial irc channel for theverge.com!
Hey. I know a lot of readers are wanting to join the official irc channel for the writers of the verge! So for the time being I've created a public channel for everyone to come and join! Hopefully the writers would love to pop a visit also. The channel is hosted on the freenode network called: #the-verge
For those of you wanting to connect to the webchat the URL is: http://webchat.freenode.net/ remember the channel is called: #the-verge.
If anyone else is wanting to connect using a client of their own, may I suggest mIRC (For windows) http://www.mirc.com/ or if your using linux - irssi http://www.irssi.org/. The round robin for this network is: chat.freenode.net port 6665 to 6667.
