Surface audio skipping issues? Xbox Music?
After reading Tom's article on a few issues being reported with the surface, I'd just like to get it out there that Xbox Music is complete shite. I was having a bunch of audio skipping and delays with my Surface but that was only with content I played through Xbox Music. The app also tended to screw with my library, and in some cases just wouldn't play certain songs, even if they were physically on my device. I have found that Multimedia 8 works MUCH better than Xbox Music. I have yet to have a problem with any skipping or any of the other things Xbox Music was giving me hell about. It takes a little getting used to, but once you figure out the gesture for just selecting specific items and get around the mildly clunky interface it works much better than Xbox Music.
