Pathetic Marketing !!!
Making an awesome device is 10% job done, really. What good is a device of you can't buy it ?
This has been a Nokia problem for ages. They introduce a product without a clue of its actual launch date. Make potential customers drool over their stuff, and when people get tired of waiting and go buy Iphones and Galaxies, they wonder what wrong they did. This Lumia 920, is an exceptional phone. They screwed up the launch event with that fake video debacle. Still, they managed to get away with it only because the phone actually is good enough. Brilliant colors were displayed at the launch event. Watching the keynote, back in my head something told me that Nokia won't screw it up again, they will give away the prices and availability details in the end. Wishful Thinking! Nothing, no dates, no prices. Even today, after months of introduction, no concrete details. We Canadians were supposed to get the product before everyone. I've been looking for it in stores and online for a few weeks now, nothing !!!! Oh, only black color, charging plates sold out, selected cities, selected carriers, this that, WHAT CRAP !!!! I've never seen Samsung or Apple doing this. They announce a product, give launch details, and before you know, their ads and products are all over the place. If Nokia is really serious about their comeback, they really need to arrange their ducks in row.
