Poll : Doubling Storage for Same Price (or) Reducing $100 ?
Apple followed model of internal storage for all iOS devices and iPods.
It worked out well back then , but now expandable storage comes handy at very low price and also Cloud option.
But I am thinking $100 price difference is really horrible for same device having no advantage over base model.
Some things made sense , For example , Apple kept 8GB 2nd gen iPod Touch for $199 and Introduced 32GB 3rd gen iPod Touch for $299 and 64GB for $399 (which made little sense back in 2009 since 32GB SD cards are not there) or
Recent iPod Touch prices also made sense 32GB for 4th gen at $249 and 5th gen 32 GB for $299 but still we can get Nexus tablet easily at lower price which can run mobile apps like iTouch (blown up mobile apps on Nexus 7 = iPod Touch apps)
But Its impossible Apple will change their model , and add external storage option.
So which one makes better deal for you ? In a hypothetical situation where Apple gives 2 options without changing current business model.
$100 off on current configurations or doubling storage for current line-up.
Which one would you choose ?
