The phone is an absolute beauty. Best display I've ever seen and it actually works with gloves on (huge plus here in Finland) or even with nails or a beer can.
I was surprised by the amount of quality apps available for WP8. Every professional review is complaining about the ecosystem, most of that is just bull. I prefer the WP Store over Google Play.
Coming from a HTC Desire android device, I'm really really glad to be back with Nokia. Gone are the lags! Reception and call quality have always been the best with Nokia.
Battery life is better than with my Android. I'm a real power user and this phone usually lasts a full day without recharging.

Nokia Music is a very good free app exclusive to Nokia. I suggest using the artist Mix Radio, the other channels are not that awesome.
Nokia Maps is very good, haven't used a separate GPS in years. Have travelled in the U.S., France, Italy, Sweden, Finland and many others with this device with no major problems.

I really hope you give this one a try. Nokia is back!
