USB Ethernet Adapters and Surface: Bye Bye Notebook!
My quest to replace my Notebook / iPad combination has reached its conclusion thanks to this link: http://plugable.com/2012/11/16/usb-ethernet-microsoft-surface I have kept a Windows based notebook in my trunk for when I need to connect to wireless routers or firewalls for work since moving most functions to my iPad. I still have kept that aging plastic 5lbs notebook in there since getting my Surface but today I was able to replace it with a $20 USB Ethernet adapter. (I have a Cisco/Linksys adapter not the one shown in the link)
