RIM is up 100% since September: what's happening?
So it looks like there is a huge rally around the Canadian phone maker. Markets are believing in BB10. More than Windows Phone. Which is interesting. I am not saying it's true or not, i'm just observing the markets.
So far sales figures for WP 8 are about 5 millions for the current quarter. RIM can beat this number for the next quarter. It also seams that the BB brand is not so damaged, at least in some countries. And probably less than Windows Phone.
US is by far the most important market in terms of visibily, marketing, innovation, apps support. Both WP and BB have collapsed severely, soon to be irreverent. Fortunately excellent WP devices along with good price have maintained a small niche for the Microsoft smartphone platform.
Now how people will react to entrance of BB10?
