Is that GLaDOS in the Pacific Rim trailer??

Let me start by saying that I am not a die hard Portal player. I've played Portal 1 for just a few hours. I by no means consider myself an expert on Portal.

But I will say this: "Pacific Rim", the new epic movie by Guillermo Del Toro is a prequel to Portal. See the trailer below.

Why?

• The obvious reference to a "Portal" at the start of the trailer
• The AI voice is clearly meant to be GLaDOS - a director doesnt just throw in a GLaDOS voice into a huge trailer like this as "homage" to a videogame.
• Those white suits that the characters are wearing pretty much drives the "Portal"-point home
• Those giant monster things that come out of the portal in the trailer seem a little too generic to the point that they don't feel like they will be the focus of the film.
• The giant portal that comes out of the earth has that familiar orange hue around it

Again, I have very limited experience with the Portal universe, but.....NEED I SAY MORE??
Thoughts?
