The Hobbit - 48 FPS impressions?
I just saw The Hobbit, and wow! What a surprise!
After seeing the low scores the movie had gotten, my expectations were basically as low as they could ever get. Fortunately thought the reviewers were all wrong :) I loved the movie and the effects were just breathtaking! To me it's a huge leap forward in CGI- and overall picture quality. I was expecting 48 FPS to look like those fake "100 Hz"-modes on LCD-TV's but it was nothing like that. Everything just looked a lot smoother but still not "too smooth", and not fake-looking.
I'm very curious what other people thought of it so please post your impressions in the comments!
