How do you merge calls in Call Logs?

This might be a seriously dumb question, but I see multiple entries of same person in my call logs.

Is there any setting that needs to be applied to make sure all the entries in the call logs are merged. In other words, I do not want to see the same person showing up again and again in my call log, just because the person has me up 5 times. I just want a single consolidated entry of all the calls from that person?
