First Time Android User (sgs iii)- Need some Help on Apps

Moved from an Iphone -4 to SGSIII .Really enjoying the big screen; Jelly Bean & Google Now Experience.

I need some help on the following.

a) Suggestions on Best Podcast App on Android Free or Paid

b) Best email client which works with exchange (Main concern I don't want Push email; I want to sync mail)

c) Is there anyway for Gmail App not to push email

d) Anyway to transfer Playlists from Itunes-Iphone to Android cleanly; any suggestions on music Player
