Brand Purchase Intention of Surface This post has the results of a Morgan Stanley Research which shows that 12% of consumers intend to buy a Surface. This trails behind the iPad at 50% and the Kindle at 16% but is still significant considering that the device is just 1.5 months into the market with limited retail visibility. Surprisingly the very popular Nexus 7 is at 6% only, while the Galaxy Tab is also at 12%. Im surprised none of the tech media reported on this when everyone used this same report to show how iPad was not being cannibalised by the iPad Mini. When there is some data showing relatively good mindshare among consumers for the Surface all these guys choose to ignore it.
