Removing features from old devices to force upgrades
Microsoft's Zune Support Twitter account recently confirmed that they have removed the ability to download albums from the Marketplace app on the Zune HD. This is a feature that has been available on this device for years, and they just turned it off without warning. They didn't give a reason, but the only reason I can think of is that they want me to throw my otherwise perfectly functioning device in the trash and buy a Windows Phone to replace it. Am I alone in thinking this is totally unacceptable?
