Cookies killing Safari performance on The Verge?
Safari became gradually unusable for viewing The Verge (to the point where I had to switch to firefox) while no other web out there was giving me any problems. I finally figured out that deleting the dozens (maybe hundreds) of cookies from The Verge did the trick and it is snappy again.
And I don't mean the long comments, it was the homepage and just about everything else. It hanged for many seconds before finally loading. It may be problem in Safari but it happens only on The Verge.
Maybe something to look into? (Safari 6.0.2, 2011 base 13" MBA, logged in using openID)
