Samsung's Texas iPhone chip factory gets go-ahead for $3.9 billion investment
We heard back in August that Samsung was looking to expand production at its iPhone processor factory in Texas with a huge investment, and today it seems like we're a step closer to that happening. Reuters reports that Samsung has finished its talks with Texas authorities, meaning that the $3.9 billion expansion can proceed as planned. Once completed, it'll be the largest such investment from a foreign company in state history.
