We Steal Secrets, a documentary that will premiere at Sundance next month, faces the difficult task of organizing an ongoing story into a coherent narrative — without glossing over the complexities of subjects like Assange's arrest for alleged sexual assault or the role of Manning, who filmmaker Alex Gibney says We Steal Secrets explores "as a human being far more fully than anyone else has."
