Today we're getting our first look at Tom Hardy's take on a rather iconic character: Mad Max. This above photo surfaced today via Twitter user Dexter Rose, purporting to be a still of the actor — most recently seen as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises — in the upcoming film Fury Road. Warner Bros. itself later confirmed to Indiewire that the image was authentic. The new movie, which has Hardy replacing Mel Gibson in the role, is being written and directed by George Miller — the same filmmaker behind the original Max Mad trilogy. We have to say what we like what we see so far, and it's yet another indicator that 2013 is going to be quite an exciting year in movies.
