Tablet ads are obnoxious
I am fine with ads on the site since the verge is running a business and it is necessary. However, I'm pretty annoyed with the ads that show up on my iPad while on the site. The most recent one bothering me is the BMW one that has a pop up animation from the bottom of the screen that you have to X out of to get rid of it. Every time you enter a page on the site, it pops up again covering at least the bottom 10% of the screen. It's one of those things that just really makes for a less desirable experience instead of being integrated into the site and something you can easily ignore.
I'm sure tablet specific ads are sort of experimental at this point, but just thought I would share my opinion. Thanks.
