Windows 8 on a 4:3 monitor
I want to install Windows 8 on my home PC. Basically, both me and my dad use it on our laptops and now, my mom who primarily uses the PC (which has Windows 7 currently) wants to try out Windows 8. My friend said Windows 8 doesn't look good (especially the Metro apps) on a 4:3 monitor. I have a 17 inch monitor which runs at 1280x1024.
So I want to ask the tribe how does it look? Now, I'm not buying a new monitor and I want to know if he is bluffing or what.
