The sharing of knowledge on social
One of the lacking things on Facebook is the sharing of knowledge.
You can share an article, a music, a movie or even a book, but you can’t share your knowledge of those in a formal way. Of course you can always comment on a publication, but your thoughts will probably sink on the ocean that is Facebook.
What if you wanted to know what your friends thinks about a specific movie? You would have to go to each profile of each of your friends and search on their profile pages if they even saw the movie.
What if there was a way to review a product or even a place on Facebook?
Imagine that I want to see Tropic Thunder, and I wasn’t sure that the movie was good enough, even though it has a rating of 7.0 out of 10 on IMDB. With the new functionality of rating, you could easily see what other people said about the movie and more importantly, what your friends think about the movie.
And this rating/reviewing feature would be followed by a deep integration with services like Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon, so that your shopping experience could be more personal.
