An adjustable Surface kickstand concept
So I was browsing a thread over here about what we wanted to see in the next Surface tablet. There were numerous reviews pointing out the lack of an adjustable kickstand and not really being usable on the lap. So i decided to do a bit of a redesign. I drew on the Arc Touch mouse as inspiration for my design.A hard rubber hinge that you could just bend/snap into place as you liked.
My sketches are at the same angle as the press shots of the existing surface. They're pretty rough.

But what's the wire thingy? The large flat surface created by the base is an opportunity. I was thinking something along the lines of a wireless charging plate that you could attach via magnets in the corners. A slice battery would probably be more useful for the Surface Pro though.
