iPad Mini Stylus... different feel from previous iPads?

Hey all,

So I got myself an iPad Mini for the holidays, and I love it. First iPad for me so it's great. I'm a design student so one of the first apps I downloaded was Paper by 53. Naturally, I want a stylus. I've watched all The Verge videos on iPad styli and was about to purchase the Maglus stylus (as per the recomendations here), but then I read online about people having problems with some styli on the iPad Mini versus the previous generations of iPads...

I found this on an Apple forum: "I think this has to do with the lamination of the sensor layer into the glass on the new iPad retina and iPad mini rather than the previous models that had the touch sensors on a separate layer."

I was curious if anyone has tried out the Maglus stylus, or any other one on the iPad Mini rather than just a regular iPad...

Cheers.
