The Day my Surface died-PART 2

As some of you may know, 2 days ago the Windows button on my surface stopped working along with the Touch Cover. Despite many of you telling me that I should contact Microsoft support through Twitter, I decided to give them a call on their Technical support number. I waited for around 10 minutes before being put through to someone who I explained the problem to. They asked whether I had restarted the Surface and wiped everything and I said I had. He then left for a further 10 minutes before returning to tell me that internally the Windows button and Touch Cover connector are linked and something is broken inside. He then said that he would send me a new one immediately, free of charge as long as I sent back the faulty one in the packaging that the new one came in! It will take only 2-3 days to get here! I was overjoyed and am quite happy with the Microsoft support team! Reminds me of Apple customer service when i broke my iPod Touch and they replaced it even though I didn't buy it from their store...but that's a another story...
