One of the best things about the Jabra Solemate is the set up & operation. It is so simple. I had my Solemate plugged in to charge, paired with my Galaxy Nexus and playing music all within literally seconds after having it out of the box. The battery life is substantial, up to 8 hours of (wireless) music time.

Whether listening by Bluetooth or connected directly to another device, the the sound is incredible with no distortion. It very much compares to the Small Jambox, I preferred the Solemate for both looks and sound.

The range of the Bluetooth connectivity is pretty broad so you don't have to worry about moving around or too far away with your device. The sound quality of a H/F phone conversation on a Solemate is actually better than a "speaker" call with my Phone.

In addition to the sound quality, the Solemate is very easy to pack for travel. The Solemate only weighs 22 oz. and measures: 6.77 x 2.52 x 2.75 inches but it is very durable. It will go anywhere and withstand just about anything, the rubber sole bottom definitely helps dampen vibration of the three front-facing speakers inside. The Solemate comes with a travel bag (the sound is just as good through the bag), an AC wall charger, a 3.5 mm audio cable (that stores in the bottom of the speaker, and a USB cable.

I am very satisfied with this purchase, if you're looking for a portable, durable BT speaker that you can take anywhere and sounds great, the Jabra Solemate would be one you should consider.

Set Up/Pairing: 5/5 - Could not be easier
Operation: 5/5 - Simple
B/T Sound: 4/5 - The sound is great for such a small package, a little is given up for the high portability.
B/T Calls: 4.5/5 - Works really well
Battery Life: 5/5 - Great
Appearance: 4/5 - I prefer it to the Jambox, Beats Pill & Monster Clarity HD
Durability: 5/5 - Very well built
Quality/Value: 3.5/5 - For the price I paid I'd give it a 5, but for the full price probably a 3.5
