David being so critical about Microsoft OS (and other) powered products.

Hey everyone !

That's a topic i won't be loading up with arguments and a bucket load of words just to prove what i'm saying, i'll let you guys do the talk and debate between each other, but i find that David Pierce is so critical about non-Apple products (you already start to get what i'm thinking of right now...) and especially Microsoft ones, i have a feeling that bad features ... or let's say the judgement on some unwanted aspects of their devices is sort of "get over it" while an issue or a little hiccup on an MS device (or android or any other device generally speaking) has to pay the price by being knocked down so heavily in its score review just because of some very minor details that will actually bother very few people once they have the products on their hands...

Why 9.0 ? I mean haven't you found a single issue in it ? I'm kinda having a hard time believing that Apple products are bug/issue/bad looking free products, i won't go too much into debate, but i'd say that for the extreme price point that this guy is sitting at a touch screen AIO with an optical drive and Windows 8 seems to be more attractive, or if you're not into this AIO PC whole thing i think you can get a more robust machine with a dedicated 27 inchs PLS monitor instead of paying 2k dollars on a "low-to-mid" AIO over-priced (yes here i said it) AIO.

I feel that all MS products are compared to Apple ones and are not reviewed based on their own standards or the price points that they're sitting on... (believe me, an iMac at 1.8k dollars isn't a very appealing choice if we consider the price...)

Now don't get me wrong... i'm not saying that what Apple produces is junk, they produce one of the best (and best looking) tech gadgets in the whole technology industry, but for what Windows and the lower price point laptops, or even other Android stuff i tend to find the reviews bashing them for nothing while Apple never gets a mention for a bug, an issue, or even if it does, it simply has almost no impact on the review score what so ever...

I like the product to be reviewed on its own, and not being compared to Apple overpriced (or way too expensive) gear which essentially targets an other price point, a different people slot, and more importantly a whole different ecosystem...

So yeah, guys, please talk about this, and tell me if is it only me or David is really being so critical about products that are not "Apple branded" and they get knocked out for minor details that shouldn't be a problem for most users...
