Windows Phone 8 and Nokia Lumia 920 Comments
Dear Verge community,
Please, please, stop commenting about Windows Phone 8 and the Nokia Lumia 920 on articles that have nothing to do with either. I come to the The Verge partly because they have great writing and very enjoyable articles, but also because the community is so knowledgable about whatever the topic is. Reading the comments is often times, a longer read, and sometimes more enjoyable, than the initial article. However, when people post about Windows Phone 8 and the Nokia Lumia 920 to intentionally start flame wars, fanboy fights, troll wars etc..., the comments section becomes nigh on unusable. It is no longer a comment section, commenting on the article at hand, but rather an obstruction to the relevant comments down below which get buried under the deluge of ridiculous notions thrown around about Windows Phone 8 and the Nokia Lumia 920. We get it, Windows Phone 8 OS is usable despite not as many apps, and the Lumia 920 is not quite as "tankish" as was to believed and maybe, just maybe, Android would be a better choice of OS for Nokia. But please, do everyone on The Verge a favor and think "Will my comment contribute the the conversation about the article that I am commenting on?". If your answer is "No.", then please post it in the forums, where such opinions are welcomed. That is why I am posting this in the forums and not in a comment thread.
