iOS 7: a wish list
Do you feel tired about iOS ? Are you expecting a dramatic shift with the next major release of iOS? What would you like Apple to improve or fix?
Personally I think Apple can (and must) do much more in iOS 7 than they did with iOS 6. Just to give you an idea, here are a few things that needs some attention from Apple:
- The basic concept of apps pushed to the limit makes iOS hard to use when working with many apps. They are to isolated without real mean of communicating with each other. Using an iDevice is essentially a sequence of opening and closing apps, one after the other. There just be a better way without compromising the user experience and security.
- Basic things like managing large photo albums are still in need for a rework. Why can't we sync albums created on the device back to iPhoto?
- Why can't we beam small piece of information like contacts between devices with bluthtooth?
