iOS 7: An updated app switcher
This visual concept presents a bigger application switcher that would use all the available space by shifting the screen content to the top after being invoked by the user. Recently used apps would show a frozen image of themselves with their icon on top. The idea is that the application screen content may not be enough for the user to recognize what is the application hence the icon presence.
The user would swipe through applications just like the current application switcher. As the user swipe the visual cards, the overlaid icon would gradually move at the bottom center of the application screen content so that it becomes centered. Tapping the screen would zoom in the application screen to fill the whole device while the Dock would slide down and gradually fade out.
This concept is the same used by Mobile Safari while swiping through opened web pages but applied to the application switcher which means consistency.
