Google Play Needs Podcasts.
Well, that's basically all I wanted to say.iTunes, for all the hate it gets, is a lovely place to go searching for Podcasts and iTunes U. It is the most complete archive available. Android sadly runs on RSS feeds, if the podcaster remembers to put one up, and homegrown lists maintained by the various podcast app makers.
It's not good.
So I respectfully ask of our Google Overlords to add a Podcast section to Google Play. And supply an API that all podcast apps can access.
And you can then link it into Google Now to offer podcast suggestions, and also do your evil data mining to tailor advertisements to suit my podcast obsessions. We win. You win.
