TheVerge.com will not open in Safari on my iPhone!!
So, this has been happening for a while and I really don't understand it. When I enter "www.theverge.com" in the address bar in Safari on my iPhone and hit "Go", it immediately changes to "www.theverge.com:7000/". It won't go anywhere, and then I just get the "...server stopped responding" message.
The same thing happens if I Google the verge and click on the link to the home page in the results. However, if I click on one of the specific Verge articles in the search results, it goes to that page fine. Then, if I tap the Verge logo, as a link to the homepage, the same "www.theverge.com:7000/" thing happens.
Chrome on iPhone opens www.theverge.com no problem - it's just Safari that won't do it.
Very, very strange. Has anybody else seen this?
